Jenna Guidry is a country‑blues singer‑songwriter from the wetlands of South Louisiana, based in New Orleans since her mid‑teens. She began writing songs at ten years old and recorded her first EP at eleven, earning regional radio play across southeastern Louisiana and establishing herself early as a young artist with a clear creative voice. Before moving to New Orleans around fourteen, Jenna was already traveling regularly to Nashville for writing sessions with Brian White and Kris Bergsnes, experiences that introduced her to professional co‑writing and helped shape her early sense of melody and classic country storytelling.

After settling into New Orleans as a teenager, Jenna continued developing her songwriting under Paul Sanchez, whose influence strengthened her narrative approach and deepened her connection to the city’s folk and Americana traditions. She has also collaborated on select projects with Tom Drummond and Mark Bingham, reflecting her ties to the broader New Orleans roots community.

At eighteen, Jenna released her Back to Me EP, a project that showcased her early blend of Americana and rock‑leaning influences. Over the past decade, her sound has evolved into the country‑blues style she’s known for today — shaped by her South Louisiana upbringing, her Nashville writing background, and her long‑standing involvement in New Orleans’ roots scene. Performing both solo and with her band, Jenna Guidry and the Levee, she brings a warm, grounded, country‑blues presence to New Orleans venues and Gulf Coast festivals.
